Robson & Liddle has welcomed back one of its former student surveyors, this time with a permanent position.
Tomos Davies first joined the firm in 2015 for a one-year placement as part of his university studies.
Now that he’s completed his BSc in Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams University in Shropshire, he’s been offered a full-time role as a graduate surveyor.
In the role, he will assist the firm in its work with farmers and landowners across Northern England and Southern Scotland.
Tomos, 23, who is originally from Denbighshire in North Wales, said: “It feels great to be back in the Eden Valley again. Having gained a valuable insight into rural surveying during my work placement, it’s great to be offered this opportunity and continue developing my career with Robson & Liddle.”
John Robson, co-founder and director of Robson & Liddle, added: “One of our founding principles as a business is a commitment to bringing through the next generation. We’re now onto our third student surveyor since 2015. It benefits our workforce and gives people a chance to gain a foothold in the profession. Tomos is pleasure to work with and it’s great to have him back in the team.”
Over the next 12-months, Tomos will gain the experience that will allow him to prepare for his final exams to become a qualified surveyor.
