Robson & Liddle is delighted to welcome Ann Tyson to the team.

Ann, a farmer’s daughter who grew up on Cote Farm in Howtown, has been appointed as a PA to directors John Robson and Julie Liddle.

She has years of experience in executive support and administration roles, including with Cumbria Constabulary and, more recently, a motorcycle company.

Speaking of her appointment, Ann said: “I’ve lived in and around Ullswater my whole life and grew up on a sheep farm where we bred Herdwick sheep. When I spotted the opportunity to join Robson & Liddle I felt it was the perfect role for someone with my farming and country background.”

Julie Liddle, a director of Robson & Liddle, and herself a farmer’s daughter, said: “The vast majority of our clients are farmers and farming families, so it’s great to have people working for us that understand the kind of issues they face. Ann will be a great addition to our growing team.”

A keen walker, Ann spends much of her free time roaming the fells with her two hounds Gossip and Gunner and two collies Reef and Sally.

Based at Edenhall, Robson & Liddle advise farmers and rural property owners across Cumbria, the Yorkshire Dales, Northumberland, and southern Scotland. It specialises in land valuations, surveys, property sales and lettings, landlord and tenant issues and rural planning.
