Robson & Liddle have recruited James Farrer as their latest employee, being the sixth student surveyor to take up a placement position.
20 year old James, originally from Dumfriesshire, Scotland, will spend the next year gaining a variety of on the job experience in surveying prior to returning to Harper Adams University to complete his degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management.
James will assist the Penrith based team with its work advising farmer and landowners across the country with a variety of work, including valuations, landlord and tenant issues, estate management and rural agricultural planning.
James explained that: “It is a great opportunity to learn from real life experience about chartered surveying from the staff at Robson and Liddle. I am really enjoying the variety of work and putting into practice the lessons learnt at university”.

Outside of work, James enjoys shooting and country sports.
